Dr. Mattie Scott-Phillips is expertly trained in routine and complex gynecologic surgical procedures. Whenever possible, she uses advanced minimally-invasive surgical procedures, including DaVinci robot-assisted surgery, which provides her patients with significantly less pain and scarring and a quicker recovery. In the majority of cases, surgery is an outpatient procedure, so there is no need to spend the night in a hospital. In addition, once a month we have a board-certified anesthesiologist come to the office to provide IV sedation so we can perform hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, permanent sterilization, and other procedures in a convenient office setting alleviating additional surgery center or hospital charges.
